Brandon and Anna

Hi my name is Karen Miller and I am Brandon Albright’s aunt. Brandon was hurt in a motocross accident yesterday at Budd’s Creek, Maryland.

This is an update from Anna last night! —Here’s my warrior hubs & an update! What we found from his CT scans is that he actually broke both the left & right side of his pelvic bone, has a blood clot, & some internal bleeding. Originally we thought his pelvic bone was in half based off the X-ray but what happened with breaking both sides is it caused a huge shift/gap that split it (they call it open book). Along with that he had two episodes of low blood pressure with the feeling of passing out so to air on the side of caution they started a blood transfusion which helped him so much. His big blood clot is being monitored & procedure to stop the internal bleeding went great. We thank God for being with him during his crash. That he shielded him from an even worse outcome. & that he is always showing his love & protection in all aspects of our lives. Although this road has just begun & will be a learning curve/huge healing process we know we have the most amazing support system & everything will be okay. Thank you for all the continued prayers! Next step is results from x rays & what his main surgery will be like. He will be in the ICU to be closely monitored for the next few days. I unfortunately can’t stay with him, which is hard since we are 2 hours away from DC, but I know he is in good hands. Thankful I have my Mother In Law to keep all positive vibes coming my way.. along with my husband who is a true rockstar.. who unfortunately doesn’t have superpowers from his cool surgery to stop the bleeding like he hoped ! ❤️
