Brandi is a 24 year old woman who had a serious accident on 10/23.
She took up bow hunting this past year and was out trying to get her first deer. She and her boyfriend were in a tree stand when he heard her say "Travis I think....." and then she fell 20 feet. He thinks she passed out.
She broke her neck c1-c6. The surgeon pieced her back together, but her spinal cord is damaged.
As of today, 11/4, she is paralyzed from the chest down.
We will be moving soon to a rehab facility, but her future is uncertain.
She had been working in an eye doctors office and loved it.
For now, of course, her income has ceased.
While we are proud people and it is difficult for us to ask for money, Brandi needs it and we will do what it takes to help her through this journey.
This money will go towards incidentals that insurance won't cover. Her Dad and I will make sure that it is not spent frivolously.
