When Brandie made the decision to get implants in 2011, she had no idea the mountain of health problems that would unfold in the 12 years to come. Implants were marketed as completely safe and women, especially then, were not made aware of the possible health complications that could incur. After years of failing health, being diagnosed with multiple autoimmune disorders (Lupus, Fibromyalgia, Ankylosis Spondylitis, Arthritis), undergoing countless tests, countless doctors, multiple surgeries on her spine and shoulders, severe nerve issues-that at times-made it impossible for her to walk without a cane, regular (painful) back injections…Brandie has been told that the root cause of all her severe health issues are a result of a severe immune system reaction caused by her breast implants. She’s been fighting for years to regain her declining health and declining quality of life. Sadly, because Breast Implant Illness is not recognized as a “real” disease yet, insurance will not cover any part of her MUCH-needed surgery. She is a Mom to three kids and working towards her degree as an RN. This surgery will calm down her immune system so that she can start the healing process and reclaim her health and quality of life. Surgery is scheduled for July, all gifts are appreciated and will help this family regain a HEALTHY wife, mother & sister
