Brandie is a mother, wife, daughter, sister, and a beacon of light to so many. Brandie and her family lost their mother Nov 2020, an untimely death that left her feeling very alone in her first year of parenting. After the loss of her mother and grandmother, and as a new mother herself, Brandie  became the matriarch for the Thompson family. Most of you may not know, Brandie and her husband Bret had been working through the adoption process for two girls age 2 and 8, who are biological sisters. God answered their prayers and the adoption became final for both of their children early in 2022.

Shortly after the official news of their adoption, Brandie received devastating news. At the beginning of March she was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive type of skin cancer called "Angiosarcoma." Angiosarcoma is a lymph and blood vessel cancer, and the tumor is in her cheek and nose, just under her left eye. Treatment options include chemotherapy, radiation, and invasive surgery; even taken together, the recommended treatments offer a bleak prognosis at best. Currently she and her husband are exploring a combination of conventional treatments and functional medicine.

We believe that God and with the help of her loving community we can turn this around and bring healing to this situation. We ask that you join us in prayer and in HOPE. Brandie is the most genuinely nurturing and kind soul who has given her light to so many. Now she needs the same from us. She is fighting for her daughters, husband, family, and all the people she serves. This process is not cheap, and her family needs all of the financial support we can muster.
