My name is Randy Hopkin. I am originally from Rigby, Idaho. Currently living in Port Saint Lucia, Florida. I have a friend, Brandi Terry from Lone Pine, Idaho that is currently in need of our help. First and foremost ALL funds raised will go to Brandi!! Brandi was in a terrible accident February 6th, on her way to work. She was traveling Interstate- 15 from Lone Pine to Idaho Falls, Idaho where she works as a CNA at Promontory Point Rehabilitation. It was a very snowy cold morning and Brandi hit a patch of black ice which caused her white 4 wheel drive pickup to roll several times into the median and oncoming traffic. Her loving companion Lakota, a pure white Husky who was in her Kennel was violently thrown from the vehicle. Lakota was not found for 2 days miraculously alive but now with medical expenses of her own. Brandi too has severe medical conditions, she fractured her neck, her back, and she has had a brain bleed. Unfortunately Brandi is not going to be able to return anytime soon to the work that not only supports her as a single woman, but a work she loves.
Last summer when I was home in Idaho for the hunting season I suffered a incident, which caused me to fall and hit my head and rendered myself unconscious. I am not sure how long I was out but when I woke up I was being treated to emergency medical care by Brandi. She kept up with the care and called the ambulance and air-med to get me transported to Eastern Idaho Medical Center. Because of her care I am able to get the medical care I need.
I am so grateful to Brandi for the care she provided that day, and afterwards that I am asking you to help me help my friend. Brandi is a hard worker, she is a good friend, she is kind, generous. Her friend Andrea from Salmon said, “Even after Brandi would do all the work of hunting her deer or antelope she would often offer me the meat.” Now that’s generous!
She loves children, 4 wheeling and was an amazing care giver to her Grandmother. Lets help Brandi get back on her feet so she can get back to being a caregiving!
