Hi friends and family,

About a month Brandi’s life was turned upside down. She was diagnosed with liver failure and cirrhosis.

She was getting a little better and regaining some strength, released to go back to work Wednesday 5/5. But she fell trying to get up off the couch Saturday night. She is so weak her legs just gave out. The paramedics came out early Sunday morning and got her off the floor onto the couch. They thought she was ok, but she was unable to move all day. So the paramedics came back out that evening and transported her to the ER. She was transferred from the ER in Frisco and admitted to Baylor in Plano. She is in complete liver failure and now the doctors are trying to keep her kidneys from failing. She will probably be in the hospital another week, if they can get her well enough, before she is moved to a rehab facility.

That being said-she is just shy of her year anniversary at work and doesn’t qualify for long-term disability. We are worried about keeping her medical insurance, so anything you can do to help would be much appreciated!

Most of all of you could please continue to pray that her body responds to the medications and treatment-so that she continues to recover!
