Brandi Newton Medical Bills

Hello everyone,

My family and I are starting this Go Fund Me on behalf of our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Brandi Newton to help pay for her medical bills.

In June of 2022, Brandi developed sudden abdominal pain. She ended up having a bowel perforation, a partial blockage, and a hernia. This led to surgery and a temporary ileostomy. After the first surgery, Brandi never felt well and was dealing with debilitating nausea all day long. This led to several hospital admissions for dehydration. She also developed abscesses which required IV antibiotics. Brandi then got a fistula and had to undergo a second surgery to repair the fistula and revise the ostomy. She continued to feel sick and was put on TPN to help with her malnutrition. In January, Brandi had a third surgery to reverse her ostomy. After the surgery, she developed another fistula. The treatment for this is to be on TPN for nutrition but Brandi is unable to eat or drink anything for at least 6 weeks. It is very likely that she will have to undergo a 4th surgery to repair the leak/fistula. Because of all these surgeries and complications, Brandi has been unable to work at her teaching job since June. She was able to receive short-term disability which has since ended back in September. The medical bills are piling up as any money Brandi has received just needs to go to her regular bills at home which she is struggling to pay. Any help would be appreciated as Brandi is really struggling with stress on top of her physical ailments.

We are asking for everybody's support to help Brandi, her husband, Eric Newton, and two kids Marin and Wyatt in this trying time.

We believe in a living God who is still active and healing today. Our God is the one who takes everything that the enemy made for evil and turns it for good. We believe Brandi is getting closer to defeating this attack everyday and are calling on our community to support her and lift her up financially in this moment.

Brandi has been in a constant fight physically, mentally and emotionally during these months and has defeated one trial after another refusing to give up.

All donations to this fund will go directly to Brandi Newton to help her and her husband pay for any unpaid and future bills as a result of her ongoing hospitalizations and treatments since June.
