Brampton Ellis will be taking part in our annual sponsored walk! This event will allow children to show their responsibility as they work together to raise funds for their school.

• Our Foundation Stage children will be raising money for an exciting new obstacle course! This will not only be a fun and engaging addition, but it will also help support their balance, coordination, and gross motor skills.

• KS1 children are raising money to buy new picnic benches and a wooden reading/play hut. These will create exciting opportunities for purposeful play, learning and engagement.

• KS2 will be raising money to buy a set of dictionaries and thesauruses for every class. This will support children’s literacy by helping them to explore word meanings and use ambitious vocabulary in their spoken and written learning.

Raising the funds themselves will encourage children to respect the new resources that we purchase. The event will also allow children to show their resilience as they tackle a challenge. FS1 children will walk approximately 1 kilometre, FS2 and KS1 children will walk just over 2 kilometres, Y3 and Y4 children will walk just over 3 kilometres and Y5 and Y6 children will walk 5 kilometres!
