Dear #BTPosse pals, it’s with a heavy heart that we’re having to ask for your help. Bramble has faced a few battles with tumours recently and after finally recovering and having them removed, we were hit with another huge setback. Her thyroid levels have dropped very low which can affect her heart. Blood tests alone have already cost me hundreds, not to mention the constant check ups and consultations. We’ve now been hit with a £2300 bill to get her sorted. This isn’t something we wanted to ask at all, our BTPosse family have helped us so much and given us so much love and we appreciate you all so much. Seeing how much you all love Bramble means the world to me. To finally see Bramble put some weight back on and finally get better, to then face this has left me heartbroken. She’s like a puppy, full of energy and loves life. Unfortunately, vet bills are so expensive and I’ve poured every penny I have into the last month or so, spending nearly £300 per visit on blood tests alone.

Bramble requires an endocrine investigation that'll point to why this is happening which is costing £2300 from a specialist but I'm short of the funds. This will mean she'll be put on a liquid medication for the rest of her life which will help her get better. The blood tests she had told us what the problem was, but not why it was happening so this bigger test will give us the answers and solution we need to treat it.

Bramble has had such a battle this year, she’s had some lumps removed and now she’s lost a lot of weight because of how poorly she is with this thyroid issue. Her other tests came back fine and this is the final hurdle with the finish line in sight. She’s currently eating twice the amount she was on before and putting weight on.

Bramble is my absolute world. My little dog has a heart of pure gold and it makes me sad that money is standing in the way of making her feel better again. She’s also currently having Neptra drops in her ears monthly as she was getting repeated infections.
