132 Mile Cycle Fundraiser For Gemma Lee

Gemma is a 39 year old mum of 2 young children. Diagnosed with grade 4 glioblastoma aka the terminator in 2019 . Tumour is very rare & inoperable so standard treatment hasn’t been as effective as we’d hoped. 18 months into a 12 month prognosis due to trial drugs & alternative protocols which cost in excess of £5k monthly.
Myself and Richard Fawcett went to school with Gemma and along with Dan Watson and Stephen Brennan we are cycling from Tynemouth to Edinburgh over 2 days. The route known as "Coast and Castles" is 138 miles which follows the coast line before cutting in land towards Edinburgh and ending at the Castle.
We'd greatly appreciate any donations. Gemma is currently receiving medication that is costing around £5,000 per month and we would be over the moon if we can raise enough funds to cover a months worth of support.
