Brain Tumor Surgery for Caleb! UPDATE

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We hope this message finds you well and filled with gratitude for the incredible support you've provided thus far. We wanted to give you an update on Caleb's journey since he successfully received the life-saving brain surgery.

Caleb's surgery at La Cayholic Hospital in Costa Rica was a crucial step in his recovery. Thanks to your generous contributions, he was able to take an air ambulance to reach the hospital and undergo this complex procedure. We are relieved to share that the surgery was a success.

However, Caleb's battle is far from over. He currently cannot breathe or swallow on his own and requires a tracheostomy for vital support. This procedure is essential for his continued recovery and rehabilitation.

We anticipate that Caleb will need care until the end of October before he can safely travel by commercial plane back home. The exact cost of this extended care is still to be determined, as a ventilator must be rented to ensure his well-being. Additionally, Caleb has encountered new challenges as he recently started vomiting, requiring additional treatment and monitoring.

While Caleb is making slow progress, he is not yet out of the woods. His strength and resilience continue to inspire us all, but the financial burden of his medical bills is overwhelming. The total cost has now reached $125,000 USD or $170,000 CAD, and we urgently need your support to cover these expenses and provide Caleb with the care he needs.
