My name is Olivia. I am 31 year old single mother to a beautiful 7 year old girl. I have been a single mother for 6 years and have had to fight my way through a lot of hardships. I worked myself to death for years to buy a stable home for my girl after years of uprooting and moving around. I have never been one to ask for help and have been proud of my independence and tenacity. However, now everything I worked so hard for is at risk and I would be negligent to compromise my child's well-being over pride. I was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor about the size of a golf ball that is going to require urgent surgery to remove. The surgery has a high success rate, but it is still a risk and the recovery is going to be extensive. I am going to be out of work for weeks, potentially months, requiring hands-on care. With inflation being the way it is I have already been struggling to stay afloat, and this is a hit I just can't recover from. I'm humbly asking for help. Any help people are willing to give will be appreciated beyond understanding. If not for me, for my daughter, who will not be able to understand the hardship and doesn't deserve to suffer from it.
