Hello my name is Ricardo Cerón Scott, my family and I have lived in Australia for the past 5 years. My parents recently came from Chile to see their grandchildren for the first time in these 5 years and to spend the Christmas and New Year's Eve celebrations with us.

Recently my father started to show signs of coordination and mobility problems when walking, as well as severe headaches.

We took him to get an MRI, in which they found a brain tumour, which was already quite large (4.8x3.6x4.2cm)

At the moment my father is hospitalised at Westmead Hospital.

The upcoming expenses for treatment are extremely high. We have to take into consideration the fees for the exams, for every night he stays in hospital, for the operation and for recovery.

For this reason, we estimate it will cost us around 85 thousand Australian dollars.

We have already spent $7,500 just for him to be admitted.

We will be transparent with all expenses by providing photos of the costs involved.

Health insurance does not cover, due to a pre-existence of the tumor.

Hola mi Nombre es Ricardo Cerón Scott, vivo en Australia con mi familia hace 5 años, mis padres vinieron de visita desde Chile para ver a sus nietos después de estos 5 años y pasar las fiestas de fin de año con nosotros.

Mi padre este ultimo tiempo, comenzó a presentar problemas de coordinación y movilidad al caminar, agregado a esto, fuertes dolores de cabeza.

Lo llevamos a realizarse una resonancia magnética de cerebro, en el cual detectaron un tumor cerebral, el cual ya se encontraba bastante grande (4.8x3.6x4.2cm)

En estos momentos mi padre ha quedado hospitalizado en Westmead Hospital.

Los gastos que se avecinan son extramadamente altos, ya sea por los exámenes, por cada noche en el hospital, por operación y recuperación.

Por lo mismo pensamos que los gastos rondarán los 85 mil dólares australianos. Todo gasto iremos transparentandolos con fotos.

Solo para ingreso ya se gastaron 7,500 dólares.

El seguro médico no cubre, debido a la preexistencia del tumor.
