Dennis had developed a large, skull-based tumor that has gone from the base of his skull up to the middle of his brain. He has gone to The University of California at San Fransisco and had successful brain surgery. They were able to remove 70% of the tumor.  Dennis has lost hearing in his right ear, is having trouble seeing out of his right eye, and has general weakness on the right side of his body.


Dennis will need to undergo 6 weeks of radiation treatment and months of physical therapy in addition to all the unforeseen medical treatments that will arise.

Dennis and Diane have already paid their $3,000 deductible and their $8,000 out of pocket bill for 2017 and their insurance starts over on July 1st.

6/29/18 UPDATE-The surgery went well. Dennis is back in Reno at Renown Hospital inpatient rehab for the next 2-3 weeks for physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation. He will travel back to San Fransisco for follow up at the end of July, and continue outpatient rehab and radiation therapy after that.  Further surgeries will be determined after rehab.

Dennis has a long road ahead, but with prayer and a positive attitude, we know he’ll be ok.
