I don’t usually do things like this I always strive to help others but sometimes we must reach out when needed.

A close relative in Trinidad was diagnosed with heart disease, brain tumor and stage 4 cancer in July of last year. This was so devastating to our family but with countless prayers and faith, they are getting better every day.

They had some radiation for the brain tumor, and they must continue to go for Scans, MRI, bone injections and several follow up with the Oncologist for monitoring. She was also hospitalized for a week.

All this has drained us financially as she was critical and had to seek private care with no insurance. With that said they were prescribed a Pzher drug called Ambiance Palbociclib with other meds that are killing the cancer cells and no Chemo is needed yet.

These meds are working well so far but they must continue this for a long time. At this point, the price in Trinidad is $35,000 equivalent to $5,000 US. Since they are not a citizen of the US, they cannot become eligible for reduced programs at Phyer.

I am pleading for any help we can receive for them so they can continue to take the meds and get back to their normal routine. It’s amazing how much they have been through, and I want to continue to help them as much as possible.

If you are unable to donate, can you say a prayer for them as I know with this recession everyone is facing financial difficulty. If you also want to purchase hot sauces all the funds are going toward them as well.

Please look after your health as soon as you have a headache, stomach pains any symptoms you can’t control as we need to all take control of our health to stay around longer and be able to enjoy this journey called life.
