Hi my name is Rustam and I’m helping raise funds for my cousin in Afghanistan who is currently suffering from brain tissue damage.

He is only 13 years old and is the main breadwinner for his family, and he has 2 other sisters , a mother and a brother to look after.

Unfortunately, all the hospitals in Kabul has advised my cousin that he needs to travel to Pakistan or a foreign country to receive treatment, as they cannot treat it in Afghanistan due to the lack of specialists and resources in the country.

As a result my cousin and his family need to travel to Pakistan, Karachi and have to pay for private treatment. This will most likely cost them tens of thousands of pounds, including the price of Visas to travel to Pakistan and accommodation.

If my cousin does not get the help he needs, unfortunately his symptoms will get worse, eventually leading him having to have a permanent full time carer, being disabled, and potentially losing his life.
