Hi everyone,

This is my best friend Carl Gaines. Please allow me to share his story with you. Carl’s positivity is infectious, even through the worst. He’s always been a hard worker and puts his best foot forward. He has a 10 year old daughter who he unfortunately is not able to support due to his medical condition.

Carl suffered from a severe seizure back in 2020 that changed his life. His seizure caused him to fall and break 4 of his teeth and injuries to his face. Multiple seizures would leave him out of work to this day. After suffering from blackout seizures for a whole year he was finally diagnosed with epilepsy in 2021. His condition has raised awareness to medical staff and has advised further action. He has been advised to undergo brain surgery in order to stop these seizures. His cousin’s wife has just been assigned as his caregiver, leaving him unable to live on his own.
