Hi… I don’t know how to explain this but I’m going to do my best. For everyone who doesn’t know, I have a brain tumor. It is a skull based meningioma, unfortunately mine is the “complex” kind. It has wrapped itself up in my carotid artery and other very important components of my brain. I have lived with this for the past 6 years.

I had my first brain surgery in 2016 and it was a rough recovery, but I did it. Now I have been given bad news, my tumor is growing aggressively in every direction it can in my head, towards my good eye, towards my brain stem. Another tumor or an extension of this one, I’m not sure at the moment has started growing under my skull in my jaw area. I have to have another surgery, a very aggressive one, is what I’m told.

I have tried to hide this part of my life because I was embarrassed, I didn’t want people to judge me or treat me any different or feel awkward hearing this about me. But I can’t do it alone anymore. I have been strong on my own but I need help now.

I need prayers to get through this surgery and I need financial support. To help my mom stay with me out in Boston where I’m getting the surgery, and to help me during the time I need to recover. The surgery is going to be this month.
