BRAIN CANCER TIME-OUT

Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters,

My name is Tuna and I'm fundraising for my best friend Nick and his fiancee Carlin. After 2 brain surgeries in November and December last year, Carlin, Nick and their families received the devastating news in January that Carlin has aggressive brain cancer. At 28, with their wedding date set for October of this year they are determined to move forward with their plans to marry the love of their lives. While all their hard earned savings are applied to their wedding fund, their friends are managing this GoFundMe to help them go on a dream vacation and for continuing treatment-travel related expenses such as parking & gas. To be clear, Carlin and Nick have asked for nothing except to keep them in your thoughts and prayers; but for those of you who are asking 'what can we do; what do they need; and how can we help', please consider making a small donation to help Carlin and Nick make a dream vacation come true in an idyllic place where they can rejuvenate from the demanding first round of radiation and chemo; a place where they can take a time-out from this cancer which now dominates their lives, and enjoy precious time together in preparation for ongoing treatment.

Carlin's brain cancer is rare and statistically holds a poor prognosis for long term survival. However, together as family and friends we pray and hold onto hope that Carlin's case defies the odds and that Carlin and Nick's love story flourishes on its own path to longevity.
