Hi, this is my very best friend Kim with her husband Mike. Kim has not been feeling well for the last month and after several attempts of trying to sweep her symptoms under the rug, she could no longer ignore how she was feeling.

An MRI revealed 2 tumors in her brain. Surgery was scheduled to remove them immediately. The neurosurgeon talked with all of us a few minutes before surgery to discuss what would happen. He described these tumors as very aggressive and angry and he would get as much of them out as he could.

Surgery went as well as expected. He was able to remove 95% of them. Chemo and radiation should help to get any remaining bits.

Kim has a long road ahead of her with many ups and downs. There may be more surgeries, clinical trials and/or new therapies to try that her insurance may not cover. I’m hoping this fund will help with those expenses.

When we talked to Kim about the severity of her illness she said “don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere. You people can’t live without me!” And she’s so right.

Please help me help her. She always takes care of everyone else but now she needs us more than ever.
