Brain Aneurysm: Help Janice Freund (Perez) Heal
Donation protected
Just over a month ago Janice Freund (Perez) married her best friend. It was her dream wedding, so beautiful and full of joy. You can see the love she and her Husband Kevin have for one another in all the photos.
The best time in her life has quickly become one of the most challenging. Two weeks ago while at work Janice collapsed and was brought to Kaiser by ambulance. It was determined that she had suffered an aneurysm, had blood on the brain and would need specialized care in Sacramento. She was transported that night to receive the best care by leading specialists. Her husband Kevin has been by her side 24/7.
By God's grace, Janice has gotten excellent care in time to save her life. Having undergone brain surgery, she’ll remain hospitalized in intensive care for at least three weeks, working daily to rebuild her strength. Her surgeons were exceptionally skilled and the prayers for healing are working! This period of time in her recovery is high-risk, but she continues to move in the right direction.
Her memory and speech are intact, though she will have a long road to regain her strength. It’s too soon to know all of the impacts this will have, but she’ll fight like hell to get home to her babies.
If you know Janice, you know how kind, generous and thoughtful she is. As a mom of two, she dotes on her children and shows up for her family when they need her. Even the day of her aneurysm- while in the hospital in pain - all she was worried about were her kids, mom and others she cares for. Janice is a great wife, mother, daughter, cousin and friend.
During this time, we’ve gotten a ton of requests about how friends and family can help out. We’ve set up a go fund me to help with any additional costs during her recovery. This will help give her time to heal, and make it easier for her family while she is unable to work. We’re also asking for prayers. We’ve seen them working every step of the way and ask that you continue to lift up Janice, Kevin and their children for healing, strength and comfort.
