Braille Yearbook for Desmond

Update: we have met our goal, any additional funds will go towards a fund for him to use towards college. We are raising $1235 to purchase a Braille transcription of our 2020 yearbook for senior, Desmond Walker. This will be a surprise for him. He asked if it was possible and we didn't think it was, but we have worked hard to make it happen and, with your help, we can! The link below is to an article our school newspaper featured on Desmond. He is a senior, and with this pandemic, his senior year has already been cut short, so this will be even more special. 
We had originally planned to do fundraising, but COVID-19 thwarted our plans and now we are just hoping to get the funds together here to make this happen! 
The $1235 is the final cost to make this happen. We have a company that is ready to start and the yearbook staff plans on reading the yearbook into an audio file, as well, for him to listen to.
