For those of you that don’t know, my dad was in a pretty severe motorcycle accident. On July 4th Brady was headed to work in the wee hours of the morning, where he swerved to miss a very large group of deer. He totaled the motorcycle, and laid unconscious on the side of the highway for several hours before first responders were able to transport him to the nearest trauma hospital. He was found to have a concussion, a few fractured vertebrae, and a severely fractured collar bone that required surgery. He has been in a body cast and an arm sling, which thankfully he has recently transitioned out of. He still has extreme physical restrictions which make him unable to return to work as a corrections officer. He is actively looking for employment opportunities that fit within his physical restrictions, but those seem to be limited.

 

In the mean time, costs of living and medical bills are piling up with no means of income. After exhausting his meager savings, our goal is simply to meet basic living costs, help with medical bills, and ultimately and not lose his home.

It’s not easy to ask for help, but we are at the point where our pride needs to be set aside. We’re asking for any assistance that you might find in your heart to give, whether it be monetary, your prayers, or kind words. We are so grateful for any support he has received during this difficult time of hardship and healing. We know it’s been a difficult year for everyone, and we appreciate you taking the time to read his story.
