Brady's Eye Surgery: A Call for Compassion
Donation protected
On Saturday, April 26, 2025, I noticed Brady squinting his left eye and pawing. Sunday, I took him to the Veterinary Urgent Care Clinic in Weymouth, MA. He was diagnosed with a 5-8mm corneal ulcer and prescribed antibiotic eye drops and plasma eye drops.
Wednesday, April 30, I took him to his normal vet because his eye was very gunky and would not open. Upon removing the gunk, his eye was leaking blood and discharge. I quickly brought him to Tufts Veterinary Hospital where the ophthalmologist let me know that the ulcer had ruptured and he needed to have his eye removed.
The photos here are a high and low estimate of the cost for the procedure, and any extra funds will go to the urgent care visit on 4/26 and future appointments that will be needed to ensure proper healing. Thank you for your time, thank you for your care.
