To know the Byther family is to love them. If you are fortunate to have Mike and Sheri in your life, you know they are a kind, fun, compassionate, hard-working couple who are raising their four boys to be the same. Not only do they have great kids, but both Mike and Sheri have touched the lives of many youngsters over the years - Mike as a coach for the boys’ many sports teams and Sheri as a teacher. The Bythers have called Bellevue home for several years; they are active in their church and the community and they are some of the best people you will ever meet.

Even though you may not know it because of their resiliency, the past couple of years have been tough for them - enduring various medical challenges and navigating cancer more than once. And now their oldest son, Brady, has a very rare incurable sarcoma; a cancerous tumor blocking his intestines. Doctors have said that he has weeks to months to live. After spending weeks in and out of the hospital withstanding many painful procedures and surgeries, Brady is now at home with his family. He will begin chemo in an effort to shrink the tumor, alleviate his symptoms, and allow him to eat.

Brady is an incredible dude. He’s funny, sweet, smart, talented, and considerate, and would be the first to offer help to anyone at any time. It’s not in his or his family’s nature to ask for help.
