Please help the Bradshaw family after a Christmas morning fire took almost everything they own. Jeff and Shannon Bradshaw have been part of the Lapeer community most of their lives. In 1998 they built, with their own hands, a beautiful home for them and their boys. Jeff is self-employed and works harder than most and Shannon has serious health issues that keeps her home. They have worked very hard to raise two great boys and make a good life for themselves. Tragedy struck Christmas morning when the fireplace chimney started their house on fire. By the time they realize what was happening it was all they could do to just get themselves and their beloved pets out of their house. Over the course of the next couple hours they lost the roof and over 50% Of the house to the fire and what the fire didn’t take the smoke and water damage did. It’s a total loss and they have to start all over again. There are four of them, four cats and three dogs that are currently living in a travel trailer, they’re using propane to try to stay warm and that can be extremely costly because it’s very difficult to keep a summer camper warm in the winter.  They have no clothes, they have no food, they basically lost everything that they have. If you can find it in your heart to help these wonderful people it would be so greatly appreciated and they would be forever grateful. If you can’t afford to help please share this with as many people as you can to see if we can reach the goal so they can find a place to  live soon.

Just want to add a little note about Shannon and Jeff. These were Boy Scout parents who for years donated their time for other peoples children, they were hockey parents who also donated their time to keep the hockey team going, they were also the family that instead of doing Thanksgiving at home would go to the shelter and hand out meals, these were also the parents who had their boys go through gently used toys and donate them before Christmas every year. These are good hearted, giving, caring and loving people who are now in need themselves.
