Update: we have reached our initial goal of $40,000. I am in awe of all of the support Brad and Chantel continue to receive. Every single donation, every share, every kind word sent, all the prayers..they continue to be heard. The Whitelaw’s will know more this Friday about next steps, this will still continue to be a long road with unknown amount of expenses. We have bumped up the goal to keep this donation portal open to anyone wanting to continue to donate and support them as they continue this long heavy road. Thank you to every single one of you! First off thank you for even clicking on this and taking the time out of your day to consider donating. Our friend Brad unfortunately has come to a dire situation where he NEEDS a heart transplant at the young age of 40yo to survive. This journey of getting on the heart transplant list, the waiting game of getting matched with a heart, then the recovery process is heavy and long.
Brad is a gracious member of our communities, a loving father to his young children Tayler and Tanner, a wonderful loving husband to our dear friend Chantel and a loved son. His family will have to relocate for the time being to be close to him in San Francisco and away from home (Tahoe) as this process can take several months. With that being said, especially in the economy we live in, life is already expensive without medical emergencies arising.
We hope that anything and everything that’s donated helps them keep up with raising their children and providing the necessities as well with anything else that may be needed as Brad continues his stay in the hospital.
