My journey with my fiancé began at my 22-week scan, where we received the news that Bradley had trisomy 18. Although we didn't know the severity, we chose to focus on the hope and joy that Bradley brought to our lives. We knew he had clubbed feet and Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF), but we were determined to make the most of every moment with him. On Wednesday, 4/2/25, we went to our 35th-week ultrasound and to set up our birth plan for our son, Bradley. When they did the ultrasound, the nurses walked out to get the doctor, and he walked back in and told me and my fiancé that Bradley did not have a heartbeat, and we were sent to the hospital. I started my labor process at 7 p.m. that night, and after a courageous 28 hours of labor, on 4/3/25 at 11:41 p.m., I gave birth to my beautiful baby boy, Bradley. He came into the world weighing 2 lbs 14 oz and 13 1/2 inches long, and his life was a shining example of his strength and spirit.
