We are heartbroken to share the news of Brad Taylor's passing on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at the age of 58. Brad was a devoted husband to Marci and a loving father to his daughter, Cadence. His sudden loss has deeply affected his family, friends, and colleagues.

For those who knew Brad, he was a remarkable individual. Professionally, he was a highly skilled and dedicated locksmith, most recently a valued team member at Hudson Entry & Automation Inc., where his expertise and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. This accomplishment, which was a source of great pride and significant achievement for Brad, was earning his TAOL Board Certified Professional Locksmith designation, "TCPL," in January 2018—a testament to his hard work and commitment to his trade. Brad possessed incredible knowledge in his field and was always ready to share his insights. He was known for his directness, strong work ethic, and ability to bring humour to any situation.

Brad even starred in a Hudson YouTube video discussing locksmithing, showcasing his passion for his work and for his customers.

Beyond his work, Brad was a man of many passions, with music central to his life. He enjoyed creating music in his home studio, collecting records, and attending concerts, with a recent highlight being seeing AC/DC in Detroit. His commitment to his family was paramount, and he cherished his time with Marci and Cadence. He was Cadence's hero, and his love for her was evident.

In the wake of this unexpected loss, we, Brad's friends and colleagues, are organizing this GoFundMe to support Marci and Cadence. Our goal is to help alleviate their immediate financial burdens, including funeral expenses and household costs. Additionally, we want to look towards Cadence's future and contribute to a savings fund for her post-secondary education, something we know Brad would have wanted.
