Bradley needs our help!

Tuesday, June 6th at about 10 AM Brad was working on a camper. He was lying down underneath the vehicle removing the drive shaft when a bolt broke, causing the drive shaft to fall and the vehicle to come free and roll off its ramps. The drive shaft, once free, became lodged in Brad's leg causing him to be dragged with the vehicle as it rolled. By the grace of God, the vehicle stopped after a foot or two and he was somehow able to dislodge his leg and crawl out from underneath the vehicle.
Brad was rushed to the hospital where they took x-rays and ultimately stitched his leg up from the inside out, first the inner tissues, then 46 staples to close him all back up. The drive shaft not only created massive lacerations but also severed a tendon and chipped the shin bone. He also suffered a crush injury to his dominant hand which is too swollen to determine if it is broken or not yet.
Brad is a carpenter, technically self-employed, and unfortunately uninsured. He currently cannot walk or use his hand at all. This is not only a very life changing event, but a very expensive one. From the ambulance ride, time in the Emergency Room, Orthopedic appointments, follow ups, medications, and just plain living expenses - things are about to add up very quickly. Unfortunately, surgery for his tendon and hand have not fully been ruled out yet, so we hope not to add that expense as well.
With Brad being out of work until further notice, it creates a large additional challenge of not only recovering, but also not being able to afford proper recovery.
