My brother Brad died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 17th at 11:20PM in Peoria, Arizona. He had been struggling with Crohn's Disease and had some medical issues that seem to be related to the disease that may have attributed to his sudden death. We are holding a Memorial Service for him in Akron, Ohio on Saturday, October 24th.
Brad was only 42 and the youngest of 3 sons. He and his wife Joanne lived in Arizona near our parents and had no life insurance as he was on disability and struggled physically and financially most of his life. Fortunatley, he had family and friends to help support him. My brother Brad and his loving wife Joanne lived a good life no matter the challenges life threw at them.
My family needs some help to pay for Brad's funeral expenses and costs related to his death. The autopsy, cremation, the memorial service, and bringing his ashes and my parents back to Ohio to be spread (the place he loved and considered home) are the primary costs at this time. Any additional money raised beyond the goal will go to help his wife Joanne during this transition, as well as donations to the "Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America" and to “The Humane Society”. One of Brad’s passions beyond his wife, family and friends was his love for animals. He loved and cared for many animals he and his wife took in over the years.
Obviously, nothing can replace the pain and sadness for losing a Son, Brother, Husband and friend… but any donations to Brad’s Memorial Fund would certainly assist in easing any worries in the family’s hour of need. Thank you in advance for your prayers, donations and kind thoughts during this difficult time.
