- I
Hello everybody! I am in urgent need of relocating from my current apartment due to the severe safety concerns and hostile living conditions. This has been ongoing for the past two and a half years. I am tired of having a smile on my face pretending everything is okay when it’s a nightmare. The repeated theft and destruction of my clothing and personal property, as well as the widespread cockroach infestation through the entirety of the building I live in, have made it clear that this is not a viable healthy living situation. Additionally, I have faced repeated instances of verbal harassment, threats, and physical violence, including an axe taken to my door, sprayed with chemicals, stalked in the general area walking home, my apartment being broken into several times, being physically assaulted and having my hair pulled out by a literal neighbor who has returned without repercussions post arrest. Despite my efforts to report these incidents and seek redress, I have received no reimbursement for my losses and have been left to fend for myself. I do not look to fix a system that is beyond my capabilities of being in shambles. As a result in various circumstances, I have been forced to sell many of my possessions constantly and am struggling to make ends meet time after time. In light of these circumstances, I am turning to the community for support in finding a safer and more stable living environment and temporary financial suport. It’s a fucked up situation but I can’t deal with this anymore. I am on the constant job hunt which has proven to be difficult. Doing drag to stay afloat is burning my love for my craft. I am willing to engage in odd jobs/ drag shows or other employment opportunities to support myself during this transition and am confident that with the help of the community, I can establish a more secure and stable living situation. I worked my ass off during pride and was screwed over in the process leaving me with barely anything. I am a truly hard working individual and artist. If you know me truly I live and breathe what I do. I’ve been grateful for the support from friends I’ve been grateful for the opportunities, I’m thankful to those who have seen the issues with my unstable living environment over the past couple years in real time. Thank you to those who have encouraged me to ask for help and want to see me succeed. If anyone needs to ask I can answer any and all questions individuals may have. Thank you truly for any and all help.
