UPDATE 4/23:
We are so very excited to share that Bradford is home! Overall he responded well to the first round of Chemotherapy. He stayed in the hospital throughout the weekend for additional monitoring and care. We are so thrilled that Bradford will be able to continue his treatment plan from home with weekly visits to the infusion center at CHLA. His second round will be on Saturday (4/27). We will be forever grateful for the prayers, love, support and generosity that have surrounded our family in the past week. We are optimistic about the next steps in our journey as a family and we are looking forward to the continued support from this incredible community as we enter Bradford's treatment plan.

UPDATE 4/19:
We are very grateful for the continued outpouring of prayers, support, love and generosity. We are so thankful for this community and witnessing it assemble around us has provided much comfort. Today (4/19) we learned that Bradford has a Stage IV Wilms Tumor and it has spread to his lungs and lymph nodes in his chest. His recovery journey begins this evening with his first round of Chemotherapy starting at 10:00 PM. The duration of his treatment will be approximately 25 weeks with weekly Chemotherapy and depending how his body responds, a surgery at either 6 or 12 weeks followed by supplemental Chemotherapy and potentially radiation. We feel optimistic about the journey ahead and will need the continued prayers and support of this incredible community.

UPDATE 4/17:
Thank you for the astounding outpouring of support and love in these short 24 hours. We are so grateful for this incredible community and it is amazing to feel it come to life. We are happy to report that Bradford is out of surgery, overall it went well and accomplished what we were hoping. Three nodules were retrieved for biopsy and the port was placed for when his chemotherapy begins. Chemotherapy will start as soon as the diagnosis is confirmed, which we are hoping for early next week.

For those who know Bradford Williger, he is an energetic, loveable and hilarious seven year old boy. On Sunday, April 14th, he was admitted to Children's Hospital Los Angeles with pain in his abdomen, which led to the discovery of a large tumor on his kidney. He is currently undergoing scans, testing and a biopsy to determine the type of cancer and his treatment plan. Tomorrow (April 17) he will undergo his first surgery and we welcome your prayers, support and encouragement for Bradford and the entire Williger Family.
