In memory of Braden Scott "Brady" Hessbrook

Braden Scott Hessbrook "Brady", age 20, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023.

Brady was born in Carson City, Michigan on August 19, 2002, the son of Terry and Kristina (Stevenson) Hessbrook. Brady graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 2021. He went on to attend Wayne State University where he was a member of the football team.

Brady was a talented and dedicated athlete, excelling in football and basketball in high school. He grew up playing all kinds of sports with his sister Kelsey. One of his favorite hobbies was spending time with his forever girl and the love of his life, Alli. He enjoyed fishing with cousins Jordan and Logan and his Grandad Glen at Lake Isabella and Derby Lake. He also enjoyed playing video games with his buddies. Brady had an infectious smile and could light up a room. He had a strong faith in God and prayed daily, including before each game.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made here which will go towards establishing the B#4 Foundation. This foundation will be in honor and memory of Brady, with the purpose to increase awareness around mental health and to establish a memorial scholarship.

The B#4 Mission Statement:

The B#4 foundation honors the life and achievements of Brady Hessbrook by providing an annual scholarship to a student-athlete who exemplifies greatness in their sport, school and community.

The B#4 foundation strives to promote mental health awareness and suicide prevention through education, outreach initiatives, advocacy, and community service.
