Braden Brent Recovery Fund

Donation protected

Braden Brent recently suffered a skull fracture, brain bleed, and severe concussion when he fell at work during a grand mal seizure on June 14. He was flown Flight for Life to Greeley. After a week in the hospital, Braden was released to recover at home. Braden must take it very easy for at least a month as he recovers.

Braden is a 2006 graduate of Akron High School. He and his wife Bethany live here in Akron and have three children. Braden works at Global Harvest and Bethany works at the Akron School. The Brents are active and involved community members, volunteering at the Akron Public Library and with Vacation Bible School.

Braden has struggled with seizures for years, but prior to a few months ago they would only hit while he was sleeping and safe in bed. Now they're hitting while he's awake. He's careful not to climb and he no longer drives. He has met with neurologists and tried different medications to control the seizures, but hasn't had success yet. Braden is hopeful that a new medication his doctors have prescribed will be effective.

Please lift Braden and his family up in prayer, and if you're able, please consider helping them out with medical bills from the fall and the ongoing search to find a solution to keep him healthy.

Thank you!
