(Braddah D's) My dad's last wish

We recently lost our father (braddah D) to cancer on november 3rd 2022...His last wishes was to pass here on maui with his ohana, but by the time we got up there to bring him home, unfortunately, because of his condition...we were to late...

My dad(Braddah D) had such a big heart he spent the last 8 years in Haughton Louisiana taking care of his mother who suffers from dementia. He could've came back anytime he wanted too but wouldn't leave his moms side, sacrificing the possibility of never seeing us or his grandchildren ever again, just so he knew she would be taken cared of by his own hand and not in a nursing home even though he was sick himself.

If you knew my dad (Braddah D) he was the type of guy that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He had a heart of gold...He truly did...

My mother, siblings and I exhausted ourselves financially making this trip happen. We were up there for weeks trying to survive all the while trying to see if his condition would get better or worsen, on top of that taking care of our grandmother too. It's been an emotional, physical, and mental roller-coaster to say the least.

In a nutshell, as time went on his situation didn't get any better, and took a turn for the worse.

Now unfortunately we're left with the burden of fulfilling his wishes financially.

So in a few kind words and a heavy heart we humbly ask anyone who loves us and my dad (braddah D) to please support us to bring him home safely for a celebration of life and to help us get the proper home health care that my grandma will need after we're no longer there. From our ohana to you words can't express our gratitude Mahalo nui!!
