A BATTLE FOR BRAD WARNICK...my little brother.
Donation protected
Brad Warnick is my brother. My only brother. My only sibling. For all but four years of my life it has been my job to protect him...to have his back. How do I protect him now, when his life has been disrupted so profoundly?
Just the word CANCER sickens me. Cancer is a thief...a homewrecker. When the doctors finally diagnosed him with non-curable stage 4 stomach cancer, I thought NO, THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE! Brad is my brother and he's only 53. He can't possibly!
But he can.
And he does.
Brad has been blessed with a beautiful family. His wife Laura has been by his side since she was like 13. I'm pretty sure they were soulmates since birth. Together they raised four beautiful children, Anna, Jon, Genna and Michael. Brad is a great dad and I know he is so proud of each and every one of them.
Now, when Brad needs Laura the most, she has to balance her job with his care and precious-precious time together. With her paid time off nearly exhausted, the strain of non-paid FMLA will only add to an overwhelming burden.
No one should be forced to choose between what truly matters and monthly obligations. This is why I've created this fundraiser. If I can take away even a piece of their burdens maybe I won't feel so helpless.
This fundraiser won't begin to cover the financial strain cancer inflicts on a family, but maybe...just maybe it will ease some of the daily burden and provide Brad with items that will make his life more comfortable.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT ❤
Please keep Brad and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Please do not bombard Brad or his family with questions. I will post updates on his battle as things change. As of the creation of this fundraiser, Brad has been hospitalized since early August. He is currently at Barnes, but they plan to return him home on Tuesday where he will be receiving care from hospice.
