Brad Tylor's Story:

July 24 UPDATE: Thank you so much for the amazing generosity from this community. I wanted to provide a quick update on Brad's cancer treatment journey, on behalf of the family. Brad went to see his Oncologist and Radiologist last Friday. He was informed that there has been a huge gap on how the application was requested to get insurance to pay for the treatment. Long story short, the coding they applied to the application was completely wrong (lung cancer and prostate cancer - not at all accurate) so his doctors are going to personally email the insurance and help right this wrong. The doctors seem confident that this will result in a positive outcome.

Meanwhile, it's a waiting game until the 29th. If the insurance approves, the doctors will schedule immediate proton therapy. If not, Brad will have to go through another round of PET and CT scans to evaluate if the tumor has grown so they can determine what the best course of action is from there.

We ask that you continue to pray for good news. Pray that God's will leads him to get his proton therapy treatment to be paid by insurance.  Pray for healing. Lastly, please pray that, if it's not in God's will for insurance to pay for the treatment, that more people continue to hear about Brad's journey and donate as much as they can to help cover the out of pocket cost for this treatment.

Thanks again for all that have contributed! Brad and his family are humbled by everyone's love and generosity.

Brad's Journey:
Brad Taylor, an avid disc golfer, has always lived by the motto, 'I'm going to enjoy life for what it is and let God tell me when it's time to go home.' With his laid back personality, it's not uncommon for him to make friends where ever he goes. Unfortunately, Brad and his family was struck with crushing news a few weeks back. At a routine check up, Brad was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin Lymphoma for the third time. The doctors are exploring the use of proton therapy to hopefully get rid of the cancer cells permanently. Unfortunately, this course of treatment is relatively new to the medical community and insurance won't pay for it.

Brad has two thriving daughters who should be exploring what it is to be teenagers and not having to worry about giving up their childhood so Dad can get treatment. Please consider helping the Taylor family keep some sense of normalcy.

Any amount would be appreciated and humbly accepted! Please raise the Taylor's name in prayer as they go through this journey again.
