Brad Salyers Cancer Fund

Brad Salyers of Benton, Kentucky needs our help with his fight against cancer.  Brad has recently had a re-occurrence of colon cancer and is undergoing extensive treatments.  His expenses outside of his medical insurance are mounting and putting a financial strain on him and his family.

Brad is a single father of 2, Brooke and Pierson, and has always been a very active father.

He has volunteered his time as a Cub and Boy Scouts leader for Troop 484 since 2006, serving in many capacities from Cubmaster for the Cub Scouts to the Scoutmaster and, now, the Committee Chairman of his Boy Scout troop.

However, for the last 19 years, Brad is best known in Marshall County and the surrounding counties in Western KY for serving as the chief statistician and records historian for the Marshall County High School basketball program and the last 8 years as the chief statistician and records historian for Marshall County’s famous Hoop Fest, which is considered the premier national basketball showcase in the United States.  Brad has also acted as KHSAA’s Region 1 Boys and Girls Basketball Tournament statistician for the last 3 years.  Brad is a quiet guy, but always has a ready smile and is considered a friend by many.
