Brad Pinkerton Medical & Expense

We need to rally around and help out our good friend Brad Pinkerton! He has had a series of events that have left him unable to work. He was in a bad car accident leaving Weiser in June. He moved to Boise to recover and recuperate. He rented a little house and was just getting set up when he suffered a stroke on November 12th. Thankfully, the stroke isn't completely debilitating, but it has significantly slowed down his abilities.   Combined with advancing liver disease, he is too sick and weak to do anything but go to the doctors,  therapy and recuperate.

He lost his insurance when he moved to Idaho, and he has not had any work at all. You know how much he hates to ask for help! But, he really needs help now! Any amount will be greatly appreciated!

A very heartfelt thank you to those  who have already been so extraordinarily generous and donated to  Becky Smith's fundraiser and in other ways sent money and help.  That has gotten Brad home with a little cushion,  but there are many new expenses and many more on the horizon.   

We are trying to muddle through the morass of insurance, applications for Social Security and agencies that might help him, but right now he is on his own.  Social Security can take up to six months to process/deny and there are virtually no assistance programs available until that determination is made.

As his brother,  I am astounded at the kindness and generosity of Brads friends and I know he feels the same way.   Brad would literally be on the streets without you.
