My name is Sam and my wife is Tammy and I am starting this GoFundMe for a very good friend who might as well be my brother. Brad is a couple of years older than me but always there when you need someone to talk to. He is a true friend to my whole family.

Recently, he has been having pain and just not feeling well. Diagnosis came back as what used to be called Wegener's vasculitis with stage 4 kidney failure. They will treat this as long as they can, but it is terminal. Brad will be missing a lot of days from work and is very concerned financially about loans and stuff. Since the days missed are not consecutive, his short-term disability doesn’t cover anything.

I’m asking for help to just give him some peace of mind that he is not leaving a financial burden to his family.

Brad would never ask any of this for himself, and I don’t know if he will be upset at me for doing this, but it is worth trying to help.
