Brad Levzow

I am Amanda Penebaker, I am Brad’s cousin. A friend of Erin’s (his wife), suggested a Go Fund Me Page to assist the family with medical bills and Erin agreed & has asked me to assist in getting it set up. 

On Sunday evening, October 9th, Brad had a horrific accident occur at home. He lost his balance heading up the stairs & fell over part of the stairway banister & fell down an open staircase multiple levels. We are unsure if any sort of medical issue caused him to lose his balance. He hit his head and was unresponsive. Erin called 911 & sent the kids to the neighbors. Brad was then rushed to the ER at Aurora Summit Hospital in Oconomowoc, WI. The trauma team there did everything they could do to stabilize the situation. After some CT scans they were able to confirm Brad has a brain bleed on his brain, he also went into cardiac arrest on 4 different occasions. They were able to revive him & stabilize his heart & breathing etc. by administering various medications. However, his brain had severe losses of oxygen during those times. The doctors had Erin say goodbye multiple times as his prognosis at that time was not good. We were praying for a miracle at that time & at this moment we feel God moved & honored that prayer, as Brad was moved to the ICU late Sunday night & he is currently being medically managed & on a ventilator. He does have a broken collar bone & broken ribs as well, but the pain medications are managing the pain well, he’s comfortable. 

Update 10/18: Brad has been put into a medically induced coma in order to try to help his lungs heal, as all parts of his body are working against each other. It is a minute by minute, hour by hour struggle medically & we still need more miracles. 

The medical costs incurred are already significant and will continue to come in due to the severe medical needs Brad has at this time.
