Brad and Heidy Stoller - Bulbar ALS
Donation protected
Hi There,
We are Joshua, Dustin and Macy - the children of Brad and Heidy. After symptoms beginning in 2021 our mom, Heidy, was diagnosed with Bulbar ALS (also known as Lou Gehrigs disease) in June 2022.
ALS begins within the limbs (arms, hands or legs) and ends in the respiratory system. Bulbar ALS begins with speech, swallowing, and breathing - moving directly to the respiratory system. For those who do not know, there is no cure for ALS. Patients with Bulbar ALS have a survival time of 6 months - 3 years after the onset of symptoms.
It goes without saying that on top of the emotional and physical stress this disease comes with, it is not free of financial stress. Regular Neurologist visits, Chiropractic appointments, a two person income now becoming one, and Home Care - the bills add up quickly. Money raised will be used towards this, helping make the remaining quality of life free from financial stress, furthermore helping focus on enjoying what time is left.
We thank you in advance for the thoughts, donations, prayers, and privacy for our parents and family during this time.
With so much love,
Joshua David, Dustin Johnathan,
and Macy Lana
