Hi! My name is Kristina. Steve and I are creating this GoFundMe in support of our coworker/close friend Amber, good friend Lamont, and their new beautiful twin girls Brooklyn and Madison. As some of you may have heard, Amber was 23 weeks pregnant when she began expierencing high blood pressure. Amber was placed on bedrest and watched closely, not allowing her to work. At 24 weeks her blood pressure started to climb out of control and she went into preeclampsia. It was critical for her health that the twins be delivered. On July 26th, 2016, at 25weeks...
Baby A - Madison Delores- 1.3 pounds 11.5 inches
Baby B - Brooklyn Dawn - 1.76 pounds 12 inches were delivered. Both are in the in the NICU at this time and need continued prayers as this is a day to day battle. We know God is watching over this family during this crucial time.
We are hoping to raise money to help ease the burden of time off work, long travel times, and medical expenses. As we know, these girls are tiny but fierce and will require an extensive hospital stay. Amber is also recovering from a c-section. Our hope is that Amber and Lamont are able to focus on the girls and themselves without having to stress over finances.
Amber has been a great friend and coworker. She has been a nurse in the Emergency Room for many years. Lamont, is a retired Navy Officer who still commits his time, daily, working at the Naval Base. Both dedicate their lives to serving others. This will be a long journey for all of them. Please help in donating anything that you can. If you are unable to donate financially, please say a prayer for their family. God is great and we know He is wactching over these tiny miracles. We thank you all so much.
