Hunter Strong

Hello my name is Angela Hannafin. I am creating this gofund me for my son's best friend Hunter and his family.

Hunter and his family moved to Millinocket two years ago from Montana. No family around at all. We became really good friends instantly. Hunter is known to be my adopted son. Fast forward to now.

Yesterday on October 2, 2025 Hunter and my son were out riding bikes in town. I received a phone call from my son, Hunter got hit by a car. Come quick Help! Hunter was taken by ambulance to MRH, he is in critical condition. They ran tests and then had to have him lifeflighted to Bangor, for a brain bleed. When he got to Bangor they were able to give more information about his injuries. Hunter has 2 brain bleeds, a blood clot in the vain near his neck, he has abroken elbow , broken finger , broken pelvis front and back on right side, broken bone under eye ,a fracture skull , broken bone on leg and possibly on toes and ankle they doing more x rays to see if they see anymore. They checked on him every hour all night.

They ran tests early in the morning on October 3,2025 to find he has two contusions on his lungs, the brain bleed is stable so they brought him in for hip surgery at 10am. Hunter is still in critical condition, in the ICU in Bangor.

Hunter has a family of 6 with 2 dogs and 2 cats. He has two older siblings and one younger sibling. Mom and Dad both work full time jobs, with this unfortunate event they will be having to take time off from work, traveling back and forth to Bangor to be with Hunter while he is in the hospital. Which the length of his stay is unknown at this time. The amount of medical bills they will be receiving over time for all of the tests, the life flight, they have insurance but unsure of how much and what will be covered.

I am setting this gofund me up to help them with everyday expenses, bills that will be coming in still. I want to ease the financial burden they should not have to worry about while they are having enough to worry about with their sons health. If your unable to help and donate please share!
