SafeTravels 4 Addie's appointments

Single mom of two beautiful girls. My oldest, Addie, has spina bifida, hydrocephalus, Arnold chiari malformation II, hypothyroidism, seizures, scoliosis, neurogenic bladder...needless to say she's got it going on! We go to lots of doctors appointments out of town. Typically doctors are minimum 1.5-6hrs away. Traveling 12 or more times a year, round trip, in addition to the day-to-day driving has worn my car out over the last 8 years. We are needing to upgrade to a slightly larger vehicle too. We have to travel with wheelchair, walker, and other medical supplies in addition to our bags. We can definitely load up and fill a space!! I'm needing to purchase a newer (1-2 year old) mini van, to last us at least the next 10 years.  I like the Nissan Quest and Toyota Sienna due to reliability and room.  Additionally,  a mini van is lower to the ground and Addie wouldn't need me to pick her up to put her in her seat; rather I could just give her support getting in. I've thrown my back out a few times picking up and twisting to fit an 85lb 12 year old into her seat.

I'm looking for some assistance to help with the down payment to lower the entire cost I need to finance to get the monthly payments where I can afford. We are on a fixed income so I have a certain budget to stay within. We always make do with what we have and I work hard to provide everything I can for my girls. Im just at the realization that this is one thing I cannot provide without help. My car needs so much work that the financial totality isn't what the car is worth. Any help is appreciated. I know Addie would be tickled knowing we have a safe vehicle to ride in to her doctors and my heart would be joyous.
