Alfie's Squad - for children bereaved by suicide
Donation protected
Here is Alfie talking with ex LFC goalie Chris Kirkland:
While I've not attended Alfie's Squad myself I've seen and heard first hand the positive change in emotional resilience and wellbeing to people in my life - my girlfriend and her 2 boys have been supported immeasurably by Alfie's Squad. As they are brave enough to go swimming with sharks
I thought I could do a tiny bit and run the Liverpool Half Marathon (17th March).
The core mission of Alfie’s Squad is to raise funds to establish a much-needed support group for children bereaved by suicide.
Alfie’s Squad is committed to creating a fun and supportive environment where children can make lasting friendships, develop a sense of belonging, and strengthen their self-worth. Our dedication to this mission ensures that children have access to the support they need to navigate their grief and build resilience for a brighter future.
At Alfie’s Squad, we understand the weight of responsibility in helping children affected by suicide. We take this responsibility seriously and strive to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where children can thrive.
By assuming responsibility for their well-being and providing a strong support community, we aim to reduce the risk of long-term mental health issues and empower children to lead fulfilling lives beyond their loss.
Anything you can spare goes straight to the families - thanks for reading.
