It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our dear beloved Latasha. We would like to thank each and every one of you for your prayers, well wishes, and donations. At this time we are asking that if you are able to, please consider donating to help with unexpected expenses. We are so very grateful for every donation during this difficult time. We ask that you continue to keep her mother Keshia, her sister Latoya and her daughter Ceniyah in your prayers during this difficult time, as well as, her entire family. On 02/08/23, Latasha was hospitalized with an acute case of bacterial meningitis. Her prognosis was not considered a life-threatening illness initially. However, after a few weeks of being hospitalized, her health diminished. After further testing, it was determined that Tasha had several strokes that affected some vital parts of her brain, leaving her unable to complete daily activities such as speaking, eating, or moving. After two months in the hospital, Latasha was discharged to hospice/palliative care at home. Due to insurance issues, we are currently unable to get Latasha into a facility that will provide around-the-clock care for her. Therefore, our mother had to become the primary caregiver for her and is unable to work at this time. Our mother is out on FMLA and is not receiving any money from her job. Due to these unforeseen circumstances, I am asking that anyone willing to help financially please make donations here to help with any financial hardships our mother may face during this time.
