I am Troy Huynh and this is our family's puppy Suki. She is a 9 year old Shih Tzu/Long hair Chihuahua and she means the world to us. From the second we got her we have taken care of her with the upmost care in the World. We took care of every doctors visit, shots, food, and everything in between as that is and was our responsibility.

I am not the person to ever ask for this type of help, but I want to be able to help my parents with this as they have been taking care of her since I have moved down South Florida the last two years. Due to my job and our apartment rules we could not have her here, as well as she has a sister in Orlando that she loves to spend time with. My mom takes care of her no questions asked and without hesitation, from the doctors visits to the proper food and care.
I visit at least once a month and there is nothing more exciting than seeing her face light up when I hit the door as she runs to me with the happiest look on her face.

July 2015, Suki was diagnosed with Cushing Disease and through the treatment of Trilostane it is now under control. She then started having seizures early August and after the second one was referred to AVS on 8/18/15 for Neurology to see if the seizures were caused by a pituitary macroadenoma. It was discovered that she was diabetic (blood work in June was normal and no signs of diabetes) She was picked up immediately and taken to her Vets office and started on Insulin. She has done glucose curves weekly at Vets as well as at home to get diabetes under control before she could be able to under go anesthesia for further testing. My mom gives her a shot every single day for this. She was finally under control November 17th. She had only a few seizures between August and December so we were hoping it was diabetes. Then Monday and Tuesday-12/7-12/8 had three seizures. She was immediately taken to AVS for testing and it was discovered through MRI that she has a brain tumor and it is pushing her brain to the right. Her spinal tap came back negative. That bill of testing alone was $3,333. In order for them to reduce the tumor size and increase her quality of living it will be 4 weeks of radiation and a bill of over $6,800. These 4 weeks will not only extend her life, but also will help tremendously with her quality of life.

Now I have always felt people were using funding for all of the wrong reasons, I have never understood why some people would try to get money for the reasons they do, until now. This situation made me realize that everyone has their reasons and no matter what they are we can choose to support them or not without passing judgement. For me helping my parents through friends and family would mean a lot. They don't ever ask for anything for the holidays, they don't ever go on vacations, they are the most unselfish, caring, and willing to help people I have ever met. I could only hope to be half of what they are one day.
With that said, I know the bills have reached well over $11,000, but I have decided to donate $5,000 of my own money to help with everything over the year. It's not only what I should do but the least I could do. If you could please help by sharing or donating that would mean the world to me.

With thousands of friends and followers every dollar helps and I will be forever in your debt.
Thank you.
