My mom and I both aren't ones to ask people for help, especially when it comes to money, but we are in this situation now that we have to put our pride away and just ask. (We did call a couple of churches; they said they don't pay or help pay rent.) We are behind on rent by over $1600. My mom has been struggling with her mental health and her physical health, including her heart failure. She lost her job and doesn't have insurance. She couldn't even get her meds again last week because she doesn't have money for them. We struggle every day with these issues, and not having money for gas or the cat stuff, who also needs to go back to the vet ASAP. It's always something. I do outpatient every day for a few hours, but I've been trying to find a job, just not having any luck so far. So, anything anyone can do will mean a lot... two biggest goals for this money is to pay the rent as much as we can and also buy my mom her heart meds which her heart is back down to working at 30 percent and of course her mental health meds. the government shut down is making it harder too because somethings the county could have called with us aren't able to at the moment
